Future of Good seeks a full‑time, experienced journalist to fill our new Senior Philanthropy and Power Reporter role. This is a leadership position in our newsroom requiring 8+ years of experience with accredited media outlets.
Responsibilities Cover the under‑reported world of giving in Canada, investigating the politics and power imbalances behind it. Ask tough questions of politicians, public figures and private citizens while highlighting solutions that shape the social good sector.
Act as the newsroom’s second‑in‑command, assuming the Managing Editor’s responsibilities when needed, including copy editing, running meetings, overseeing the editorial newsletter and responding to reader inquiries. Work primarily remotely from Ottawa with occasional in‑person office time.
